The Listening Program™ is a Music-Based Auditory Stimulation method that trains the brain to improve the auditory skills needed to effectively concentrate, listen, learn, and communicate. It literally exercises and tones tiny muscles in the ear and helps build stronger multi-sensory pathways in the brain. The brain receives especially rich auditory stimulation, and its ability to process sound improves. Program consists of 15-30 minutes a day of gaited and filtered music specifically recorded for this purpose.

Costs $399 plus the cost of an approved headset and walkman if you don't already have one

Commitment
The Listening Program requires fifteen-thirty minutes (depending on age and sensitivity) five days a week.

All you have to do as the adult is make sure the headset is put on properly (the right earphone on the right side, the left on the left.

Passive program for the participant all they have to do is listen while relaxing or doing another fun activity. It can be purchased and used at home or you may pay usage fees at the Center.

Our computerized brain gym games to provide the appropriate sensory stimuli to activate
improvements in how the brain functions and learns. Learning will become easier and grades will improve. The nice thing about this program is that it's so much fun that they don't realize they are learning.

Cognitive training software consists of a variety of exercises designed to help improve functioning in areas such as sustaining attention, memory, thinking before acting, visual and auditory processing, listening and reading skills. These programs use your child's love for computer games to develop learning skills that will often result in eliminating the need for tutors in the future.

The principle behind cognitive training is to help improve the "core" abilities and self-control necessary before an individual can function successfully academically. The exercises "drill for skill" directly in the areas the areas where specific cognitive difficulties occur.

The computer is the easiest and most cost effective way to implement this type of program. The computer also provides the option of game like structure to motivate clients to complete the training.

Commitment
